GENERAL FOR INTERNATIONAL/DOMESTIC PACKAGES

  • Rates mentioned in all the packages are valid for Indian nationals only until and unless specified along with quotation.
  • All the confirmation depend on Airfare and Hotel confirmation are on availability at the time of Booking.
  • For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages the airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.
  • Extra bed/mattress will be provided as per the Accommodation (Hotels/resorts etc.) policy. If the hotel is giving an extra mattress instead of an extra bed it will be considered as an extra bed only. 
  • Base category rooms will be booked in all Accommodation (Hotels/resorts etc.) until and unless specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected Accommodation (Hotels/resorts etc.), rooms shall be booked in similar Accommodation (Hotels/resorts etc.) or higher category rooms where you had to paid the differences.
  • Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of ticket and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.
  • Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated us in writing on mail and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case.
  • In a package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest’s discretion whether to take service or not.
  • Please carry your valid Identity proof card(Aadhar card/Driving Licence in case of India Package) (passport in case of International travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don’t carry that with you.
  • The check in and check-out time of most of the hotels is 1500 Hours to 1100 Hours and number of meals including breakfast is always corresponding to the no. of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
  • For early check in and late check outs payments are to be settled directly by the guest at the hotel.
  • Cost does not include Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like rail/flight/vehicle delays and cancellations, road blockage, vehicle malfunctioning, strikes, natural calamity, political disturbance etc. and it will be borne/settled by client only. The Travelius will neither be responsible and nor bear these expenses. No refund shall be made for unutilized services. And AC will not work in hill areas or stopped/parked vehicle.
  • Itinerary which is provided by the travel consultant is tentative/suggested itinerary. Company has right to changes or modifies the itinerary because final itinerary is confirmed after the hotels confirmation only. If in case more than one destination you travel, if any destination/place hotel s are not available in that condition we provide similar category hotels or nearby destinations so that you can visit the places which is mention at your itinerary. In this situation if client cancelled the booking cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case.
  • If the payment is not received as per the policy, the company is liable to cancel the bookings and the amount deposited will be non – refundable in that case. Also if the travel is started without clearing the balance amount against your package the company will not be responsible for any inconvenience caused during the travel, the company is liable to cancel the bookings and the amount deposited will be non – refundable in that case as well.
  • The Travelius can assist you in processing visa for international travel but can’t assure your visa and in case of failure of visa process, the cancellation policy will be applicable and will be charged from client from the date of rejection of Visa from embassy.
  • In case of International travel, rates may vary based on change of ROE or any other fluctuation in international market or subject to availability.
  • Budget packages are tailored for budget travellers only (not recommended for family travellers). Budget packages are suitable for travellers who has low budget. No claim shall be raised on The Travelius on services offered by Hotel/transporter in this case.
  • It is always advised to follow the travel itinerary. If for any reason travellers deviate from Itinerary, travellers shall be responsible for any extra expenses incurred on travelling, hotel, sightseeing etc. No refund shall be made for un-utilized services.
  • As The Travelius is only acting as an facilitator we have no liability in respect of the supply of any element of your booking, including any liability for illness, personal injury, death or loss of any kind, delay and inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any provider of travel services or products or by other third parties unless caused by our negligence.
  • All services provided and assured by the Company are subject to full realization of payment prior to departure. If payment to the Company is made by cheque, the Package/ tour component will be delivered only after realization of cheque.
  • The Company has right at any time and for any reason to cancel a tour package/tour component prior to the date of departure and if it does so, its liability shall be limited to refunding all the money paid by the Tourist, towards the tour package / tour component. The Company also has right at any time and for any reason to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any tour, holiday, excursion or facility, it has advertised or published, or to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary. In either case the Company shall not be liable for any damages, additional expenses or consequential loss suffered by the Tourist/Group.
  • No person, other than the Company, in writing has authority to vary, add, amplify or waive off any description, representation, terms and conditions set forth herein or in brochure of the Company, or other terms & conditions regarding tour booked by the Tourist with the Company.
  • In the event of the Company exercising its right to amend or alter any tour advertised in their brochure or any other media after such tour or holidays has been booked the Tourist shall have right to continue with the tour or holiday as amended or altered. The Guest/Tourist/Group will have to accept any alternative tour or holiday which the Company may offer. In neither of the above cases shall the Company be liable to the Tourist/Group for any damages, additional expenses and consequential loss suffered by the Tourist/Group.
  • The Travelius acts as a travel agent. We arrange travel services and sell travel related products on behalf of suppliers such as airlines, tour and cruise operators, car hirers and accommodation providers. In doing so The Travelius gives no warranty nor makes any representation regarding the services to be supplied or the products purchased by the Guest/Tourist/Group. You agree that if the travel services or products are not supplied in accordance with your booking your remedy lies with the service provider and not with The Travelius.
  • The Company shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the Guest/Tourist/Group any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delays, increased expenses or consequential damages by any misadventure or otherwise caused. The Company shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the Guest/Tourist/Group any act, omission or default of any hotelier, carrier, travel component supplier or other person or by any servant or agent employed by the travel component supplier who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility or service for the Tourist/Group, howsoever caused. In this clause the expression “however caused” includes negligence on the part of any person.
  • Meals offered on the package will only be veg unless and until specified. If non veg meals are requested by the guest it will be charged extra. 
  • No liability on the part of the Company arising in any way out of this contract in respect of any tour, holiday or excursion facility shall exceed the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for the tour, holiday, package/ tour component or excursion, and shall in no case include any consequential damages or additional expenses whatsoever.
  • The Cost of Ticket does not include any Insurance Premium. The Tourist/Group will have to pay any such premium at their own cost.
  • All tour programmes and packages/ tour components are subject to laws, rules and regulat/Group are on tour and back. The Company will have no responsibility in respect of any condition brought about by any such laws, etc., or due to act of God.
  • Any complaint by the Tourist (including complaint on behalf of passengers of the Group submitted by the Tourist) in connection with or arising out of the tour must be notified to the Company in writing within twenty one (21) days from the end of the tour. No claim or complaint made thereafter shall be entertained in any circumstances. No individual complaint of passenger of the Group shall be entertained directly and therefore same must be made only by The Tourist who is a leader of the Group.
  • In no event shall “The Travelius” be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages due to deficiency in service by our suppliers (hotel, transporter, airline etc.). Our maximum liability is limited to our service charges.
  • All claims, disputes and litigation relating to the tours arranged or co-coordinated by the Company shall be construed according to current Indian laws only and shall be subject to jurisdiction of courts in Delhi only.
  • The Company will not be liable to any passenger for refund, compensation or claim for shortage of tour days or for cancellation, postponement or re-routing of any particular scheduled transport service due to any reasons including fog. The rules in respect of cancellation charges or refund will be applicable. The tickets are issued, subject to conditions herein.
  • Star classification of Hotels as 5 star, 4 star and so on is provided to the Company by the supplier of the hotel travel component and the Company endeavour to validate and authenticate this information in utter good faith. The Company cannot be held liable for wrong and inaccurate information provided to the Company. Descriptions, photographs, sketches and list of amenities/facilities are also provided and this information is obtained from the supplier of the hotel travel component. 
  • Generally one suitcase not exceeding 20 kgs. and one piece of cabin baggage not exceeding 5 kgs. is permitted. But, it is always advisable to check with the specific Airlines/Overseas Tour Operator/Transporter. Allowance may vary from transporter to transporter. As is the common practice, one piece of luggage is to be with linear dimensions (Length + Height + Width) not exceeding 45 inches. The Transporter may charge extra amount for the excess baggage. Against loss or late delivery of baggage payment for the same is subject to conditions laid down by the airline/overseas tour operator/hotel. The Company will not be liable to the passenger for any case of late delivery or loss of baggage weather caused by any airlines, tour operator or hotel or by anyone else. 
  • Number of meals including breakfast are always corresponding to the number of nights booked by the Tourist in the hotel. Hotels do not provide breakfast on the day of arrival. The Company reserves the right to change the meal arrangement if circumstances make it necessary to do so. The meals are pre-set and choice of menu is not available. 
  • The Company will not be liable to any passenger for refund, compensation or claim for shortening of tour in relation to tour shown in itinerary or any cancellation, route change or postponement or delay of any airlines due to any reason whatsoever including fog or bad weather and the tickets/package are issued subject to the conditions herein.
  • The Company is acting as booking agent for the overseas tour operator / travel component supplier and is travel agent only. The information given in the brochure is as accurate as the Company can make it. The Company’s brochure descriptions are of amenities normally available. However, circumstances can change due to events beyond the control of the Company. Major roadwork, etc., may necessitate route changes. Where the Company knows of these sufficiently in advance, the Company will notify the Tourist/Group. Route changes could also be necessitated due to natural calamities. The Company does not control or operate any Airline, neither do the Company owns or controls any shipping company, coach or coach company, Hotel, transport and other facility or service ingredients, travel component in tour package/ tour component availed by the Tourist/Group. Since the Company only selects and co-ordinates travel component, the Company shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss, deficiency in service or damage, if any, caused by any act or omission of the management or employees or any independent contractor of any airlines, shipping company etc. 
  • Packages:Wherever transportation is provided on basis of Seat in Coach (SIC) same is on sharing basis. Sightseeing Tours: Transportation is provided on the basis of Seat in Coach (SIC) same is on sharing basis or Private vehicle basis depending upon the tour/tour option booked. Airport Transfer: Transportation is provided on the basis of Seat in Coach (SIC) same is on sharing basis or Private vehicle basis depending upon the transfer/transfer option booked.
  • Cost does not include Expenses caused by factors beyond our control like rail/flight/vehicle delays and cancellations, road blockage, vehicle malfunctioning, strikes, natural calamity, political disturbance etc. and it will be borne/settled by client only. The Travelius will neither be responsible and nor bear these expenses. No refund shall be made for unutilized services.
  • It is the responsibility of the Guest/Tourist/Group to check and hold valid travel documents like passport and Visa till the end of the tour. In case any travel document like visa is refused, expires or is cancelled by the authorities, the tour participant will have to meet all the contingencies arising therefrom and to meet all expenses consequential thereto. The Company will have no responsibility whatsoever in respect of the above matters.
  • The Company suggests the Tourist/Group to carry holiday spending money partly in currency, partly in traveller cheques. It is advisable to arrange the same at least a week before departure. Traveler cheques are safest way to carry money as they are easily cashed for a small service charge and can be replaced, if they are stolen or lost. The Company will not be responsible for any loss of exchange / Currency. 
  • In Low Cost Airlines only Hand Baggage is Allowed (example Air Asia, Scoot, Fly Dubai airways etc)
  • If you are unsuccessful in any legal action instituted against us, you agree to pay all our costs, including but not limited to, attorney/client fees.
  • The cost of gratuities, insurance sightseeing, excess baggage charges, laundry, drinks, tips, airport taxes, meals except where indicated and items of personal nature are not included in the tour cost.
  • In Peak season case of bookings for special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year, Pushkar Fair, Diwali etc) full payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

 

BOOKING CRITERIA

Guest’s interest to participate in the tour 

 

  • Payment of the booking amount indicates that the guest is interested in the tour and has read and accepted all the terms and conditions mentioned in The Travelius website. In case of a guest who is processing the booking formalities on behalf of his/her family is deemed to have been authorised to do so by his family after reading all the The Travelius terms and conditions mentioned on the website. As all these Terms and Conditions will form part of contract that Guests will enter with us once the payment is initiated to The Travelius.

 

Documents required for booking a Package

 

  • A guest must have a valid photo ID Proof(Aadhar Card/Driving licence) of all passengers for booking a domestic Tour and a valid passport with minimum 06 months validity from expiry date on passport(Front page/back page/Observation page if any) for booking an International Tour. As per the circular issued under RBI regulations, submission of PAN for all passengers for international tours is mandatory. If the guest does not possess the documents stated herein, then, in such case, a provisional booking is made and confirmed only after the submission of the said Documents.

 

Online Booking

 

  • A guest can make online booking/booking request for the Tours offered by The Travelius through our website thetravelius.com. The booking request will be processed for confirmation of prices and availability of the Tour requested by him. Only on confirmation to the guest about the prices and availability, we will be bound to provide the requested Tour to him subject to making full payment and complying with the relevant terms and conditions. Any correspondence with the guest prior to our aforesaid confirmation, will not be treated as any acceptance of your request.

 

  • The online booking of the products and services made available through this website is subject to availability and solely at the discretion of The Travelius and/or its respective suppliers. A guest must ensure that all information provided by him while booking is correct. In order to inform the guest of any developments affecting his travel and for security reasons, we must have correct information of the guest on record. If any or all of these contact details are not correctly given, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction at the risk and cost of the guest.

 

Booking for Customized Holidays

  • Once your Travel Advisor confirms your booking for a customized holiday, you will receive an e-mail confirming your booking. You can also get in touch with us for any further details.. Please expect to receive your vouchers 15 to 7 days days before your departure date for international travel and 7 to 1 day before your departure date for Domestic travel(subject to full payment of your package cost).

 

  • Our team has created many suggested itineraries for your individual travel. In case, you do not choose the ready-made holiday options on our website and would like us to tailor-make your holiday itinerary specifically for you, a Holiday Design Fee(HDF) will be applicable. HDF is charged as our team has to find all relevant information and create the holiday itinerary exclusively for you. This is a non -refundable fee of INR 1500 (inclusive of GST) per India Enquiry and INR 3000 (inclusive of GST) per World Enquiry & This fee will be adjusted in the booking amount if you book your holiday within 30 days from the date of receiving HDF amount.

 

Health 

  • When the Guest books a tour, or when someone else books a tour for him, in his name then it implies that the guest is physically fit to travel to that particular destination. It is very important for the Guest to take care of his health throughout the tour. Health is entirely his risk and responsibility. It shall be the duty of the guest to inform The Travelius in writing in case of any medical condition that may affect his ability to enjoy the tour. Under such conditions, we may decline to accept or continue such guest in that particular tour. Any health issue arising on tour or any stay back due to the same shall be entirely borne by the guest and we shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever. The Travelius reserves all rights (without obligation) to ask the guest to undergo medical tests and provide written certification of his medical fitness before departure or at any time during the tour and if he/she fails to undergo such tests or fail to provide such certificates, we may decline to accept him or to continue him/her on the tour. However, it is not our obligation to check his medical condition. The guest must bring with himself any medication that may require by him while on Tour. He must also note that service providers such as Airlines may decline to accept him on medical grounds. The guest must read the Rules and regulations of the service providers, because we shall not be responsible for the consequences suffered by guest. To some extent, losses on account of cancellation or curtailment attributable to hospitalization as also expenses of hospitalization incurred by the guest may be covered by insurance.

 

MODE / FORM OF PAYMENT 

  • You can transfer the payment in bank Account(IMPS/NEFT/RTGS), you must send us the receipt of payment transferred through mail on accounts@thetravelius.com
  • Cash Payment not Accepted, if deposited in company bank account it would neither be considered nor given back. Hence it would be forfeited.
  • Payments made by the payment gateway will attract 5% gateway charge on each and every transactions which is need to be borne by guest/traveller/group.
  • If payment is by cheque, payment should be made at least 01 week before the delivery of documents. So that the amount can be reflected in Bank Account.
  • Guest has to pay INR.1000/- (One Thousand Only) for each instrument in case cheque dishonoured by the bank, The Travelius reserves the right to take necessary legal action in respect of dishonoured cheques.

 

PAYMENT POLICY OF DOMESTIC PACKAGE

  • A Non–Refundable deposit of INR.7,500 per person or 30% of Total Package to initiate a booking.
  • For Flight Booking we required 100% Airfare, which can be Transferred in ICICI Bank, Otherwise no ticket will be issued.
  • All the payments have to be cleared before 20 working days of departure date.
  • All the Payments have to be made as per payment schedules.

PAYMENT POLICY OF INTERNATIONAL PACKAGE

  • A Non–Refundable deposit of INR.15,000 per person or 30% of Total Package to initiate a booking.
  • For Flight Booking we required 100% Airfare, which can be Transferred in ICICI Bank, Otherwise no ticket will be issued.
  • All the payments have to be cleared before 35 working days of departure date.
  • All the Payments have to be made as per payment schedules.

Non-payment of tour price – Deemed Cancellation

  • Guest is required to pay full tour price after the confirmation of booking in instalment schedule shared  before, last and final payment should be made 35 working days for International Package / 20 working days for Domestic Package prior to the tour departure date. If the payment is not received during the mentioned time frame then The Travelius reserves the right to cancel the booking without any written notification and forfeit the paid amount.  In such a case, the cancellation notice will be treated as cancellation date and cancellation charges will apply as per the policy.
